A pouring head rather than a lid: you drink from what it pours, not from the vessel.

The pouring head unscrews from the carafe body and comes apart further on most models. The spout channel is the part that needs attention: it is the narrowest path in the whole piece and the part reviewers report dripping when it is left dirty.

The straw pulls out of its port, and the port usually carries its own small gasket. Wash all three parts separately. A straw left in the lid dries with whatever was in it still inside.

Sliding lid
A sliding hatch on a press-in lid. It closes the drinking hole. It does not seal the cup.

A small hatch slides across the drinking hole on top of the lid. It is a splash guard, not a seal, and the maker says so. On most pieces the hatch itself comes off for cleaning, which matters because the recess under it is exactly where coffee oils collect.
This lid is splash-proof.
